Many thanks to my 'editor,' John Ball, without whose help the information on these pages would be full of errors!

I love Wales! It is my father's homeland. Though he was never able to visit during his lifetime, he always carried hiraeth in his heart. I visited in his behalf, always with a camera in tow. The main focus of my visits was to walk the places my ancestors walked and find more information about them, but I never said no to an opportunity to visit other places. Each time I visited, I thought it would be the last time. But hiraeth called me back, and I'd find myself booking a flight. I made my last visit to Wales in June 2003. I still feel the hiraeth, but circumstances of health and money have not allowed further travel. These pages show some views of the beautiful, ancient land that I belong to in spite of myself. I hope you enjoy them.
